One of the Last Meet !

Location: Somewhere in Pune
Day: Yesterday
Time 7:30 PM IST

It was end of another fight, I said "Bye, C U Tomorrow!" I closed the door and was waiting for Lift at the fifth floor. Suddenly She came outside and said "Manish Lets go to terrace I want to talk to you." I thought what the hell is this, 2 minutes before we were fighting (I guess) now she wants to tell me something it was horrifying and unexpected.

The chilling breeze and the cloudy night accompanied us on the terrace; she started with her past life as I didn’t know many things about her. But believe me this was least expected. I didn't have any words to make her happy at that time.. All my philosophy was in vain. I shared a "HT Story - All 22" with her. We both paused for few minutes and then few of the building residents started coming on terrace as it was a "Karwachowth" evening and it was the time to see The "Chaand"-The most awaited guest of the day. 2-3 uncles were waiting for Moon. After few minutes one of the uncles came towards us and said - “Beta moon nikal gaya hai, tum dono oos taraf jaakar dekh sakte ho." OMG... I replied with rocket speed - "nahi Nahi.... hamein chaand nahi dekhna hai." And he gave a huge smile to us.
I thought "It's the time to move to the other part of terrace." It was really funny. we stayed there, shared few more things. I was feeling light than ever before. (9:30PM)I was feeling hungry so we went to the flat again and had dinner. It was time to say Final Goodbye for the day....

When I was leaving for my place on my bike, I don’t know what happened but I had few drops of chemically salted water in my eyes. May be the reason behind it was - The bike, The Wind, HT -22, Her Past, The current condition or the fear of Our Future ................. I don't know!!!!

Perception !

Whenever we see anyone first time Our mind and heart make a perception about the person. The perception may be good or bad. And after this our energy goes in the direction of perception. If the perception is good then we pass positive energy It helps both you and the person but if you have a negative perception about someone then you think that whatever s/he is doing or thinking is wrong and you pass negative energy.

So what is good ? - Good/Bad perception
Bad perception is always wrong and Good perception is very risky. Best thing is that never judge any person by just looking him or just listening to other’s words. Because most of the time if we do not have good perception for someone even if the person is not bad. We starts behaving rudely with him and after few time he thinks that you are not behaving properly so he starts avoiding you and after this you think that you were right this guy is like this only. The reality was that you make him like this.

I’ll tell you another story.( Disclaimer:- This story is completely fictitious and is not related to any live or dead person)
There is a guy named Kunal. Kunal works for a company which have more than 1000 employees and have offices across different city of India. One day he got transferred. He has few friends over there. So he starts going new office daily. There is a girl named Kirti. Kunal’s friends told him that don’t talk to her because she is characterless girl. So Kunal makes a PERCEPTION about the girl. Now Whatever she does Kunal thinks about that in negative way. One day Kunal was sitting in office, Kunal was very upset that day and his eyes was full of tears. No one in office even noticed him. Suddenly Kirti pinged him and asked “ Is anything wrong. Let’s have a coffee break, It will be helpful.” Kunal Never expected this kind of response as he was under different perception. Now Kunal is feeling guilty.

Moral of The Story :- Never make perception on basis of others perception.

Smile is an expression of face. The following part of this post will describe why should I or you smile.
1. To cry we need tears but We don’t even need tears for smiling.
2. A Smile on every face can remove crime from the world. As no one can do crime while smiling. It is a fact that a person cannot kill other person while smiling. Just think about a scenario that a guy having smile on his face and a knife in his one hand and trying to kill someone….. is it possible ? Smile and knife together !!!
3. Smile removes the difference made by Language, Country… Every one smiles in a same language.
4. Physics is not applicable for Smile…. The shortest distance between two people is smile.
5. For Girls … No need of going to beauty parlors , just have smile on your face… It’s an inexpensive way to change your looks.
6. You can do more shopping by the money saved from Parlors.
7. Smile removes the beauty bars… I have never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.
8. If You cry you will have more wrinkles, Smiles removes this possibility also…
9. Smile makes your heart positive and mind active.

Ek Chhoti Si Love Story

Place :- Somewhere in Jaipur.
Time:- A Monday between 2004 - 2008

That day the class was cancelled. I was not informed so I went for the class. This was the best part of this story…. What a great luck I had that day as She was also not informed. So we two were alone there. She asked me to come with her to her house. Even though my hostel was in different direction I agreed to go with her. After 5 minutes of silent walk I asked her name she said “S* Jain”(Full Name cannot be written in public place). Jain … Oh my goodness. We talked for around half an hour and walked for 10 minutes.

I am little bit weird (Sometimes People call Psycho to this weirdness). I usually listen one song at a time. Same is applicable to Other half of world as song. I think about one beauty at a time for few days. So for next few days She was in mind. So what did happen after that ?

Day 2 I took Vipul Bhai’s bike (The Great Bajaj Boxer with worst condition) to the class. She was alone that day also as Neha(I think other girl’s name was Neha but I am not sure) didn’t come to class. She came to me and said – “Wait for few minutes after class”. After class She asked me to drop her to her home. Her home was at walking distance from our classroom. Still she was asking. This time I had Vipps bike and that too Bajaj means gear in front. (I usually drove Hero Honda type Gear bikes only). As I couldn’t say no, my bad luck begun. She was sitting on pillion seat and then whatever happened was the most embarrassing moment of my life. Gachhh… Gatchhh… Two times… I thought I will kill Vipul. So after that we reached her house. We talked for two hours. Whatever we discussed was all waste and useless.

Day 3, Same as day 2 just remove the bike from picture. (Vipul had come to college So I gave him The Bike)

Day 4, She thought I am flirting with her (At that time I didn’t even know how we do we do flirting). We didn’t talk that day. In the evening she sent me a big email stating – "I have a boyfriend and he doesn’t like me to talk with any other guy. I talked to you as a friend and You took it Otherwise. We should not talk to each other from now…… bla… bla… bla… ". I replied – “I never tried for you. I will never talk to you first. Go to Hell”

Day 5, She called me and said Sorry.
Day 6-7 Weekends
Day 8 We met in class but didn’t talk. I knew that Her branch is not computer science So there would be a very less possibility to meet her again in class but I didn't try.
Day 9 It’s time to change the song and the beauty !!

P.S. 1. This story is almost true But It occured few years ago so there might be a few mistakes in recalling.

Childish Concepts

Once I read one of the many stories of Akbar-Birbal. In the story Akbar asked, “Which is the fastest thing in the universe?”. Everyone was giving different answers and a few said sound is the fastest. some said light is faster than sound. But Birbal said that Light is not the fastest thing in the world. The fastest thing is “M-a-n”(Hindi). At one moment it would be on the earth and the next moment it could be at the sun or anywhere in the Universe.
Like this My mind(M-a-n) was also fast when I was a kid. At that time I used to spend(waste) hours in thinking about all the things in the world. I lost so many nights because of it. So here I am recalling my thoughts which were all wrong and weird.

Bombay :-
Once I went to Mumbai when I was 10. I saw so many advertisement hoardings. I knew them and their working. I knew that companies put their ads on it and owner gets money for it. But I was wondering that who is this stupid giving ads of numbers like 022 – 4569874 or 9874563210. I was making fun of the person for so many months in my thoughts. But at that time I was too young to discuss this topic with others. But Why The ads? I spent many sleepless nights to get answers for it .

Clouds :-
My father had a scooter. So whenever we went somewhere I used to stand Between the driver seat and the Scooter handle since I am the youngest person. While I was at it I passed my time watching other vehicles, specially their numbers. But what strange thought came to my mind was that there are so many vehicles in the city so there would be large quantity of smoke with the same color. So I thought there should be more clouds generated continuously. Then there must be more rains in the city. But it never happens in our city. I put a lot of effort to find out the answer. I knew how the clouds are generated from sea water, but I was not able to differentiate between the Cloud and the smoke coming from vehicles.

Rain Shower:-
My family lives in a small house. There is a hole in the roof at the center of the house for light. But In rainy season water used to come from it. So we put an Iron sheet. We made the Sheet from a drum by removing top and bottom cover and cutting it vertically. The sheet was in rectangle shape. I used to think that if I fill water on the roof and make some holes in the sheet than there will be a rain type scenario in our house. So I tried thinking of the dimension of the sheet used by God to make real rain

Non-Existence of Earth:-
I used to think that what would have happened to us if Earth doesn’t exist. There were two kind of thoughts came to my mind.
1. When I didn’t know that earth is a planet, Earth is spherical, There is an atmosphere around the earth. I used to think that earth is nothing but ground on which we are standing. So for me non-existence of earth means non-existence of plane ground to stand on. I had seen the big valleys on discovery channel. So I used to imagine life like we are living on the slope of those valleys the only difference was their slope was endless and we are walking down and down and down.
2. When I knew that earth is a planet, Earth is spherical, There is an atmosphere around the earth. At That time I knew the real earth so I thought non- existence of earth means We all are falling in sky throughout our Life. I used to be scared of thing that If I leave my mother’s hand then I will lost her.

These are some concepts which were created and destroyed by me. There are few more about which I will write later.

I, He and She

Location :- Somewhere in Pune, India
Day :- Some day in June 2009

After the explosion in our company during mid June everyone was in different kind of thoughts. We were not talking to each other much but still we were talking wherever it was essential... Actually the fun part was missing from our chats. Same was happening with I, He and She.

The only thing which was worrying He and She is that both were in opposite side of stream.

That day both He and She were little more depressed and I came to know that She is leaving on very next day. I went outside for some work.

When I was coming back I saw that He and She had come to garden in our society. They asked me to come to some restaurant for dinner.
‘Ok’ – I replied without hesitation.
Then we started walking towards the restaurant. I thought why I am going with them. ‘To disturb them’ – I answered myself. And the answer was pitching me badly. After few minutes of walking we reached to some restaurant.

We sat there but we were not speaking a single word. She was playing with He’s phone. He was thinking something with closed eyes. I was completely clueless what to do. The background music was according to situation (Songs Of Hindi Movie – “Akele Hum Akele Tum”). He and She had very little hope that they will meet again in the same company. I was never in this kind situation before. I was thinking why I came with them. They may have wanted to talk to each other. I started abusing myself in my mind only.

Somehow we had dinner, Came back to home and very next day morning I went to Office. He went to Railway Station to Drop Her.

Birthday after Death !!

Year 2009 - Birthday on July 20 and Death on July 12

So today is 8th day after death and my birthday. Two different occasions, two different feelings, two different directions and two different domains but One thing is common among all and that is Me. Friends want to celebrate but my heart says no. Should I listen to my heart or my friends. Life is becoming very complex for me and I am not a genius who can come over it very easily.

So I switched off my phone to avoid the conflict. I know that this day will not change my life still I am trying to run from the world where people know me to somewhere where I am alone, nobody knows me. I want peace from this crowded life. I want a break from this messed life.

My fault is that I want all these things today when everyone thinks that I am completely free(mentally) to get their wishes. It’s not their fault also. It’s just a game and gamer is not any one from us.

My Birthday Gift

Today I am going to tell you an universal truth about all guys and that is “Every normal guy has a secret dream girl about whom they never speak to anyone. ” This will always be a secret throughout his life and it ends with his death . Believe me, even if the guy is very innocent or decent or rogue this is the fact.

Most of us never tell our feelings to the girl but few are lucky who have enough courage to ask the girl. I am one among the majority of the people.

So the conclusion of these few lines is that there is a possibility of a secret dream girl for me. I’m wondering if this is related to my birthday gift!!!! The girl may be my Birthday Gift or something worse is waiting for me.

I know I am not the lucky person but I believe that I don’t have the worst luck …
But this time I was wrong.

I thought whenever I will go home I will let her know my feelings for her. I had planned to go home on 2nd September. I asked her to meet me at my favorite place FS on 3rd sep’s eve. I was counting days.

But on Sunday morning I got a call from one of our common friend. She said: “Manish, I have a news for you.”
I replied - “What.. You want my address to send My birthday Gift?.”
She didn’t speak a word for next two minutes and then said :- “Manish, She Died .“
I was not prepared for this news, I disconnected the call and thought…..
“Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi .. Hairaan hoo main ”

I asked myself: “Is this my Birthday Gift ?”

One Year of Life

One year at Satyam ….

Was it good or bad ?
Should I celebrate it or not ?
Should I laugh on myself or cry ?

Whatever it was … Today is my destiny. I can only feel the relief of writing these lines from office as many from our batch (People who joined Satyam on same date as fresher) are not able to do that in current condition.
In last one year I went home twice and I changed my residential address 5 times, I lived in Three different cities of three different states of India.

4.Plot Number XXX, Near IIMB , BannerGatta Road , Bangalore (Karnataka) Duration: 1 Month
5.Mayur Nagri , Sanghvi , Pune (Maharashtra) Duration: 3 Months
6.Vasant Utsav ,Hinzawadi, Pune (Maharashtra): Duration: from last 4 Months

What will you call it ?

In technical point of view:-
I learned too much of technical things. According to VL it is all useless but for me it is as good as college life.
I learned how to copy(Correct) code from one (Correct) place and paste it to other (Correct) place.
I can’t believe that Whatever I implemented in last one year was either taught by NM or nobody ; )
I wrote the first program of more than 50 lines or Second of any kind(First was “Hello World” in First year) in SATYAM IN THE FIRST WEEK OF TRAINING. And now I don’t even check for lines’ count.
I never use cryptography, Networking router, any algorithm for searching/Shortest path/substring …. I believe that MICROSOFT and GOOGLE are taking care of all these things and when I work for Google/Microsoft/Cisco I will recall them.

In non technical point of view:-
I almost failed. I was not able to make new good friends not a single one in last year… But I am in touch with almost all of My College friends. This is possible because of “MNIT-COMPSKI” group. Thanks to Google team.
I didn’t call few of them for the last few months. I want to say sorry to all of them.
I don’t know whether I hate The Company or Love it.

I bought a bike[Bajaj XCD 135].

Misc:-
I am still working on my book “2NP763427” but I don’t know when it will be completed.
I met a few people from my college life again except those who were in SATYAM (Anant, Shardole, Shantanu, Anshat, Amaresh, Saajan, Sanjeev, GT , Hemant Jindal, Paretha, Talwar, Nitish, Anand Meena, Pankaj Daandaliya, Poojari)
I still missed the opportunity to meet other peoplebut that was completely intentional except Abhi.
I am still choosy in calling my home.
I stopped doing “Bhasad”.
I travelled few places like Shirdi, Mahabaleshwar, Sinhgarh Fort, Ajanta caves.
I still change my status message frequently in office communicator[again a Microsoft product].

And Finally Situation was that much worse that I wrote my previous Post “Vidayi”.

So after one year I am still a physically alive human being struggling in non-human world but I still have a few moments of Laugh every day.

Office Hours

Usually every company’s office period is for 9 hours. Typical timings are from 9 O’ Clock in the morning to 6 O’ clock evening. But our office timing is 9 to 6:30 ;) officially. As you know this is very long time and it is very tough to pass this time even when you have work or not. If you don’t have work then it is obvious that you are not able to pass time but If someone has work then s/he normally pass time till 6:30 than starts working and It is very normal that in any IT company 70% of work is done after working hours which is only 20% of total working time and quite interesting is that it is not paid.

How people pass these paid time.

Starts with 9 hours 30 minutes (570 Minutes)
Everyone has to sign in before 10:30 am (90 minutes late to actual time)
Remaining Time 480 minutes

Anyone can sign-out after 5 pm(again 90 minutes before time)
Remaining Time 390 Minutes

Official Lunch time is 1 PM to 2 PM
But people start discussing about it at 12noon and reach cafeteria at 12:30 only but it doesn’t affect the end of Lunch Time that is always 2 PM or some time 2:30
I assume it as 2:15
Time in lunch is 12 to 2:15 (135 minutes)
Remaining Time 255 minutes

At least 2 coffee breaks of 30 minutes each(60 minutes)
Remaining Time 195 minutes.

Still We have 195 minutes that is more than 3 hours.

For this 3 hours people usually spend in various activities although these all are useless for company for which they are working for and the most Important is company is paying for it. What are these activities ?
Let’s Start :-
• * Blogging :- Most of the guys write the post in 9 Minutes(Maddy) to 2-3 hours(Bagga) but they forget to mention the editing time which is far more than the writing time. You will not believe that some are editing the html code of blog template. (30 minutes)
• * PakUrdu/Gupshup :- In short these are the online communities which discuss or gupshup about Osama to Jardari to Pakistan to Naseebo.
• * News :- It is like everyone is preparing for IAS and spending time in reading articles perhaps the time is more than the time which they spent in preparing exam in entire college Life.
• * Finance desk : Some are busy in making and analyzing charts of stock markets.
• * One of the worst time pass if any international cricket match is going on than many will refresh the news page 100’s of time to get the live score. (15 minutes minimum)
• * Some Read Novels. (average 5 minutes)

I forgot to mention the time passed in checking forwarded emails and in forwarding those mails to others. (30 minutes)
Communicator chat time !! (15 minutes)
Google time pass !! (assume 30 minutes)
Reading others blog(10 minutes)

Remaining time (195 – 30 -15 – 30 – 15 – 30 – 10) = 65 Minutes 

So finally our office hour is limited to around “ONE HOUR”
Still talking with friends is remaining……
So Have fun at Office while being Paid 

The Most Boring post of the World !

This is after very long time when I am writing on this blog. Actually I was busy in doing nothing at my company. Today also I am doing nothing but I thought I should write something which is related to no one but everyone wants to get it, read it. I don’t know what am I going to write and what people will understand and what they will take meaning of this, I have completely no idea about it.

If you feel this is the end of this post than you are wrong but if you think that the post is not ended yet and there would be some useful things will come up that can make you rich than you are completely more than wrong. But I know that some have not reached beyond this line. So I want to congrats all the people who are still managing their mind. You know one thing that is, If someone reading, S/He must not have mind in correct condition because if the person who wrote this doesn’t use brain in writing this than how can any person with brain can become fool.

Ok, Now come to the point, But first you should understand why should we go to point ? Is it compulsory to go to the point If we can gather in a circle. Ok, No more puzzling . Actually I am writing this to kill my time and kill your time. I believe I am completely Passed in my aim. What do you thing am I not?

I know, Now you are either Laughing or Crying or Shouting. You may be in any condition But I am sure that you are not in Normal condition. So I request you please don’t come to my place to beat me. You can put your anger in form of comments but again I guess you are not in that condition. Are you?

Oh My god, You are still reading. Now I can believe that My post is not more boring than you. I am happy now but I think you are not happy. Don’t try to make yourself happy because anyone can read your face now that you are not the one which you are trying to show you are.

This is only the first degree torture, If you want to get 2nd and 3rd degree you can read this post 2 or 3 times respectively.

I don’t know whether this is the most boring post of the world or not but It’s up to you to tag it as the same.

Dreams - "The weird Imagination"

Today I am going to talk about dreams, Don't go to other meaning like Goal, Aim of life etc. Dream is thing which we see after sleeping. These dreams are more weird than what you can imagine. and I believe It is true. There are different people who believes that dream is nothing but whatever you want to think or whatever is in your heart etc etc. I don't know whether it is true or not. May be sometime it becomes true But I saw a dream 5 days ago which is completely weird and unexpected for me as that thoughts never came to my mind before.

So I am recalling the dream -
I was going to satyam office I saw Maddy at the main gate of company's office . I asked her "Why are you angry? Is there any problem?" I just completed this line and she started crying and said, "You know manish that my weight is growing like anything, Even my husband has started teasing me now. He is saying that I am in nervous nineties so be careful and make Century. So I decided to join Gyn." " Than, what is the problem. Go to Gym. I am sure you will lose at least 30 -40 kg within a month if you will start dieting." I replied.
"My Boss RAGHU is a problem. He is from Our batch only, still he is not giving any relaxation of timing in morning. Raghu The waste fallow, Who made him Boss, I want to kill that guy."

Now we are in office busy in doing some work. suddenly we saw that a guy in formal white shirts and black Jeans shouting on guard for attendance, saying How can you mark abscent for me? I am only two hours late. You don't know how to handle kids. I have three. and...... bla bla bla .... (I forgot) There was a parents meeting in school so i came late..... again bla bla bla…
After some time he came to my place and said - " Yaar Manish , Dhadi Maja aayaa aaj to, Chotu ke school gaya tha .. Kya patackha teacher thi Maja aa gaya."
I said "Yeah sodde ko koi nahi samjha sakta."

I forgot the next part of dream. after some time Alarm started ringing and that's the end of my dream.

I never thought like this but it came in dreams. Little weird :)

I usually don't believe in conspiracy theories but here I am giving you the other picture of so called "Satyam fraud case". I know that you all be aware of this case so I am not going to explain you the fake figures.

In this whole case the main thing which stuck to my mind is what makes Raju to suddenly confess the thing of fraud of thousands of crores Rs. when everyone knows that India's system is the one in which any person like him can easily get out or pass decades easily.
As Raju said in his confession letter that he is doing because for his "internal satisfaction". He also said that he is the only one who was involved in this. But I don't think this the case.

Now I am going to tell you the possibilities.....
First, may be the confession letter is also a part of the fraud and Raju and his friends are making money of this market. You would think that how can a person can make money from down market. but people who know about Put and short option can understand the earning by down market and it is possible also because only Raju knew about it before time. any one knew it before it came to media can easily short sell the stock of ten times than what money have so if market is down by 80% you can earn around 800 % of money what you have. It is also possible that this crash is making thousands of Rs for Raju's men.One can also say that Satyam loss is Raju's loss as he is the CEO. No ... because he has only 3% stake in Satyam. If you have 100 rs in one pocket and 3 rs in other pocket than which pocket will you want save. One answer 100 rs.

Second,DSP Merrill lynch (ML), There is a possibility that ML which was working for regaining investors' confidence who came to know about the balance sheet fraud and they were planning to reveal it but this cause bankruptcy of Satyam, so may be they have forced raju to confess something minimum. So we can say that the fraud may be bigger than which is reviled. One can make doubt about ML, I would say about it is all Institutional investors started selling Satyam shares at 75- 80 rs/shr but ML sold it at 108rs./shr may be because they knew the really situation.

Third, Raju is really a gentleman. The person who tried to increase the share price of the company in which he has less than 5% stake. See if first two things are not true than we can say that Raju haven't got a single coin from the fraud. he was just trying to make the company successful on charts and trying to remove the company from the fear of possible merger or acquisition and it is not at all wrong intension.

fourth, If the first possibility is true than this also can happen that the confession letter is bogus(only the figures.) and the fraud is smaller but there is almost zero possibility of it.

Finally we are waiting for merger with a good company. I have received around 30 calls in last one day asking about the company. some people are saying to leave the company. I would like to suggest you to if any one want to take risk than buy 100 shares of Satyam in price range 15 - 25 rs/shr. and hope for merger with a reputed company. It will cost you 1500 - 2500rs(at max 4000). is equal to your expenditure in making "Bills".

So Be optimistic !

...Early Bird !!

This is my first post in year 2009 so Happy New Year to all.

today is my first working day as 1st Jan is holiday. I came to office at 8:35 and When I went to attendance register for entry I saw that My name is now printed(Previously It was hand written). and you know because of new month the register was also new. and I was the first person to come office so there was only my signature in the register.
Ohhhh... it means I am the Early Bird Today...(On very first working day of the year 2009)...

I am happy ... But is it good or I am a fool/stupid who came office that early. Whatever others think about it doesn't matter to me ... really !!! I don't know.
But can't do anything so be :)
